Refurbished Furniture

For Christmas, I refurbished a beat up Statton piece for my little one. I painted his favorite animal, cats on it.

The cats were painted in Gouache. Illustrations by Rach Featherston, 2022.
The guy who lived before me abandoned all his stuff in my garage and basement. I figured since it’s been 3 years, he’s not coming back for it.

My Kalla Ikea record/bookcase collapsed after 4 years. It wasn’t cheap so I decided to rebuilt and redesign it. Posting new to old.

Redesigned and painted.
Built it in kitchen. Too cold outside!
Stock footage of what it was originally. The shelves buckled, and starting leaning towards the left. I will never buy another ikea piece, the Billy bookcases did the same thing, and my entertainment center. I spent so much money, I had to save one of them. I bought the furniture new only 4 years prior.

    What you did with that crummy furniture is amazing! The cat bureau is so cool. I would love a piece like that in my living room with all my pets. A piece like that would look wonderful in a summer house with sea creatures!
